Garma Panel and Print Project

Each year at the Garma Festival, acclaimed and emerging Indigenous artists participate in the innovative Garma Panel and Print Project. Artists create individual prints that are later editioned by a master printmaker. The printmaker also prints combinations of these individual prints to form large collaborative artworks, the Garma Panels.

The project began in 2003 when festival organisers encouraged the numerous Indigenous artists at Garma to create individual prints which could form part of a larger collaborative artwork.
